Family child care providers work out of their private homes where they also live.  In contrast, a child care center is located in a commercial building.

Family providers can be registered with their state.  Registered family providers in New Jersey receive yearly inspections and are required to re-register every three years.  When we re-register, we are required to complete 20 hours of child care training and have CPR/First Aid.  Background checks are made on the provider, employees, and family members who may be home during child care hours.

A center can have as many students as space allows.  Based on state guidelines, family providers have a very small number of students.  A smaller group setting is ideal for infants and toddlers entering care for the first time. The individual attention and affection they receive help to ease the transition from home to school.

We believe that family care is your best choice and we look forward to caring for your child.
